Hidden Camera Detector ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles information.

We Do Not Collect Personal Data

The app requires no account or registration. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. All scan history is stored locally on your device only.

Camera Access

Camera access is used solely for the infrared and lens-reflection detection features. The camera feed is processed live on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Sensors and Network

The magnetic detector reads your device's magnetometer locally. The network scanner inspects your local Wi-Fi to list connected devices; this information stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Location (iOS)

On iOS, location permission is requested only because the operating system requires it to read local Wi-Fi network information. We do not collect, store, or share your location.

Third-Party Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
