Privacy Policy — Mahjongia Last updated: 16 July 2026
Mahjongia is published by Webgrup. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. Contact: [email protected]
The short version Mahjongia does not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a server that stores your data. Your progress lives on your device. The only parties that receive anything about you are Apple and Google, and only for the things they already do: payments, leaderboards, and ads.
What stays on your device Everything you build up by playing is stored locally on your device and is never sent to us:
Levels completed, scores, stars, streaks and daily puzzle results Achievements and coins Your name and avatar, if you set them Your settings: sound, haptics, theme, reminder time Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also erase it from inside the app at any time: Profile › Settings › Reset progress.
What third parties receive Apple — purchases Subscriptions and one-off purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase is active. See Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Apple — Game Center If you sign in to Game Center, the app submits your best score to a Game Center leaderboard, and reads back the rankings so you can see where you stand. Your Game Center nickname and ranking are visible to other players, exactly as with any Game Center game. This is handled by Apple; we do not store it. If you do not sign in to Game Center, no score leaves your device and the leaderboard shows sample players instead.
Google — advertising (AdMob) Mahjongia shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may collect and process device information, including an advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads. Google acts as an independent controller for this data. See:
Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy How Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites Tracking permission. Before any tracking that requires it, iOS asks for your permission. If you decline, ads still appear but are not personalised. You can change your mind at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Removing ads. Any subscription, or the one-off "Lifetime No Ads" purchase, turns ads off completely. When ads are off, the ad SDK is not asked for ads at all.
Notifications Reminders are created and scheduled entirely on your device. Nothing is sent through a server, and we do not use push notifications. Reminders are off until you turn them on in Profile › Settings, and you can turn them off there or in iOS Settings at any time.
Analytics We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not build a profile of you. Apple may share aggregate, anonymised statistics with us through App Store Connect if you have opted in to sharing them with developers in your iOS settings; that data does not identify you.
Children Mahjongia is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, at any age. Advertising is configured so that ad content is age-appropriate. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please write to [email protected] and we will act on it.
Your rights Because we hold no personal data about you on our own systems, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request — the data is on your device and under your control. For data held by Apple or Google, please use their own privacy tools, linked above.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights over your personal data. To exercise them against Google's ad data, use the links above; to exercise them against Apple, see Apple's privacy policy.
Changes If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
