Purchases I paid but the app still shows ads / levels are still locked. Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. Purchases follow the Apple Account, not the device.
How do I cancel my subscription? Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or it renews. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
How do I stop the free trial before I'm charged? Cancel it the same way, at least 24 hours before the week is up. You keep the premium features until the trial ends.
I want a refund. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
What is the difference between "Lifetime No Ads" and the Level Pack? No Ads removes advertising. The Level Pack unlocks the premium levels. A subscription includes both.
The game A board I can't finish — is it my fault? Every board is built so that it can be cleared, and shuffling rebuilds it so it can still be cleared. But you can still strand yourself by taking the wrong pair first — that is the game. Use Undo to step back, or Shuffle to redeal what is left.
The tiles are too small on my iPhone. Phones get boards designed for a portrait screen, so the tiles stay large. If they still feel small, try Easy — its boards have fewer tiles and therefore bigger ones.
Why does my Easy progress not carry over to Hard? Each difficulty has its own run of 400 levels and its own progress.
What is Brain Training? One puzzle a day, the same board for every player in the world, with one hint, one undo and one shuffle so everyone plays it on equal terms. It changes at midnight, your device's time.
Game Center and your name Why can't I change my name? If you are signed in to Game Center, your name comes from there, and Game Center's leaderboards will show that name whatever we store. Change it in Settings › Game Center › [your name]. If you are not signed in, you can set any name you like in Profile › Edit.
The leaderboard says "sample players". That means Game Center is not available — usually because you are not signed in. Sign in at Settings › Game Center and pull down to refresh the leaderboard.
Notifications I get no reminders. Reminders are off until you turn them on: Profile › Settings › Daily reminder. If iOS previously denied permission, the switch will not stay on — enable notifications for Mahjongia in iOS Settings first.
I don't want reminders. Turn the switch off. There is at most one reminder a day, and it is cancelled automatically once you have claimed the reward and solved the daily puzzle.
Data Will I lose my progress? Progress lives on your device only. Deleting the app, resetting the device, or tapping Reset progress erases it permanently, and we cannot recover it. Purchases can always be restored through Apple.
