Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Seeko: Word Search ("Seeko", "the app", "we", "us") is a free word search game for iOS published by Webgrup, Türkiye. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what choices you have.

In Short

  • Seeko has no accounts and no sign-up, and we run no servers for the app. We do not receive your progress, your settings or any personal data.
  • Your progress, streak and settings stay on your device.
  • The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob (a banner, an occasional full-screen ad and an optional rewarded video for a hint). AdMob is the only third party that collects data through the app.
  • There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
  • You can erase everything stored by the app at any time in Settings > Reset my data.

Who Is Responsible

Seeko is published by Webgrup, Türkiye. Contact: [email protected]. Since we receive no personal data from the app ourselves, Webgrup does not hold a profile of you. Google (AdMob) and Apple process data under their own policies.

Data That Stays on Your Device

Settings (language, theme, large letters, color-blind palette, haptics, timer, left-handed mode), your progress per language (completed levels, stars, best times, words already seen), your daily results and streak, statistics (for example words found per day), the game in progress, and counters the app uses to follow its ad rules (when an ad was last shown, how many puzzles you finished, when the app was first opened). We cannot see this data. Settings > Reset my data erases it, and deleting the app deletes it. A backup you make yourself (for example iCloud or a computer backup) may include it under that provider's rules.

Advertising

Seeko is supported by ads from Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK):

  • a banner on the Home, Map and game screens (never over the grid or the word list);
  • an occasional full-screen ad after you finish a level and tap Next level or Map (at most once every 3 levels; none in your first minutes or first levels);
  • an optional rewarded video if you choose to watch one for an extra hint.

To deliver, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and use: your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address (which gives an approximate location), device and app information, ad interaction data (such as views and taps) and diagnostics (such as crash and performance data). See https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites for how Google uses data from partner apps.

  • iOS: the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission, from the second time you open it. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown and the advertising identifier is not used for tracking.
  • EU/EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland: a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform may appear. You can change your choice any time in Settings > Ad preferences (or in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
  • We never send your progress, streak or settings to advertisers. Ads are limited to a general audience rating.

Permissions

Seeko asks for one permission: App Tracking Transparency, only to show more relevant ads. It does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, notifications or health data. Sharing your daily result uses the iOS share sheet: the text goes where you send it, and we do not receive it.

Sharing and International Transfers

We do not sell personal data, and the app sends nothing to us. Data leaves your device only to Google AdMob, as described above. Google may process data in other countries, including the United States, under its own safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions. For people in Türkiye, to the extent that KVKK Article 9 applies, transfers rely on the safeguards allowed by that article and, where required, on your explicit consent given through the consent form and the tracking prompt.

Legal Bases

Personalized advertising and the use of the advertising identifier rest on your consent (ATT, UMP), which you can withdraw at any time. Showing non-personalized ads rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the app free.

Retention

Data on your device stays until you reset it or delete the app. Data held by Google follows Google's retention policies.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EEA), the UK GDPR, the KVKK (Türkiye, Law No. 6698, Article 11), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and the LGPD (Brazil): access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, withdrawal of consent, portability, and complaint to a supervisory authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Board).

  • Your on-device data: you control it. Use Settings > Reset my data.
  • Ad data held by Google: use Settings > Ad preferences, iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and your Google account's ad settings (https://myadcenter.google.com).
  • Questions or requests to us: write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. We hold no account data, so we may be unable to identify you.

California residents: we do not sell personal information for money. Ads served by Google may count as "sharing" or targeted advertising under some US state laws; you can limit this by declining tracking.

Children

Seeko is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. It is not in the Kids category. We do not knowingly collect children's data, and personalized ads are not meant for minors.

Security

Seeko keeps your data in the app's private storage on your device and runs no backend. No method is completely secure. Keep your device protected with a passcode.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will give notice in the app or on this page.
