Yonder Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Yonder: Countdown & Widgets ("Yonder", "the app") is a countdown app published by Webgrup, Türkiye. This policy explains what data is processed when you use it.

1. No account, no server

Yonder does not require an account, and we do not run a server that receives your data. We do not collect your name, e-mail address or any other personal information.

2. Data stored on your device

The events you create (title, date, emoji, color, optional photo, repeat and reminder settings) and your preferences are stored only on your device, in the app's storage that is shared with the Yonder widgets. This data is never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.

3. Photos

When you choose a photo for an event, the system photo picker hands the app only the photo you selected. The app does not get access to the rest of your library. A compressed copy of the selected photo is kept in the app's storage on your device.

4. Calendar (optional import)

If you choose to import events, Yonder asks for access to your Calendar. It only reads the calendar events you can pick from and copies the title and date of the ones you select into the app. It never creates, changes or deletes calendar events. Calendar data is processed only on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn the permission off at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Live Activities, widgets, Siri and Shortcuts

Live Activities, widgets and Siri/Shortcuts run on your device. They read your events from the app's local storage to show the countdown on your Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and Home Screen, or to answer questions such as how many days are left until an event. Live Activities are updated locally on your device, and Yonder does not use push notification servers for them. Siri requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy terms; Yonder does not send them anywhere.

6. Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The app asks for notification permission only when you add your first reminder, and you can change it any time in iOS Settings.

7. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Yonder is free and shows one banner ad at the bottom of the event list, served by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use data such as your IP address (approximate location), device and app identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information to deliver ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud. Google acts as an independent controller for this data; see Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Yonder does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). Yonder does not track you across other companies' apps and websites.

8. Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform is shown before ads are requested. Your choice is stored on your device, and you can review or change it in the app's Settings.

9. Your rights (KVKK and GDPR)

Because we do not hold your personal data, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data processed by Google, you can use Google's tools and exercise your rights under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Article 11) and, where applicable, the GDPR. You may also contact us at [email protected].

10. Children

Yonder is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Deleting your data

Delete the app from your device to permanently remove all events, photos and settings stored by Yonder.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version, and material changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
